What's your story?

Life Lets Itself Unfold Like A Cardboard Castle

Life Lets Itself Unfold Like A Cardboard Castle

Life is an opportunity

To spread wings

We don’t have,

Find caves

We don’t explore,

Dream dreams

We may never fulfill,

But through it all,

We persevere.

Our life is a series

Of missed opportunities

That presented themselves

Wholly in front of us,

And along the way,

We forgot,

Or chose,

Not to take them.

But what’s stopping

Us from taking

The next one?

Or the next one?

How about this one?

It’s the opportunities

That we

Do

Take,

Not the ones

We don’t

That shape us

In ways the world

Sees us for.

But is that really

Truth?

Sometimes the things

We don’t

Do

Make us

More human

Than

Ever,

And show us the

Greatness

Of our

Very

Being.

Your choices

Aren’t

To ever

Exactly

Coincide

With mine,

And that’s the beauty

Of the

Natural

Human.

Your inaction

Could be

My greatest

Choice

Of taking

Action.

Life lets itself

Unfold

Like a cardboard

Castle,

And we are the wolves

To enter

It with

No maliciousness

Or

Leave it,

Burning

Behind

Us.

What will it be?
