The Rain Does What The Clouds Want

Bring an umbrella,

For the rain will fall,

With no courtesy

Of telling you beforehand.

Let the raindrops

Flow,

As they will not 

Pierce

Your 

Travels,

Just make them

Unnecessarily

Soggy.

The water

Bends

And

Breaks

Into a million different

Ways of being.

Just as the water

Flows,

Our thoughts

Do too.

Why not an umbrella

Or hat to save our

Head from the drenching

Of

A

Lifetime?

You’d think once it’s

Happened

Once,

You’d be prepared for

It

To

Strike again.

Alas,

The rain

Does

What 

The clouds

Want.
